| All new for 2009, the Firefly redefines the manoeuvre oriented sail sector with its super lively performance; truly 'the' freestyle-wave phenomenon. |
| With a new lower aspect ratio design, the FireFly delivers lots of drive for early planing and speed. With the power positioned low down it is easy to remain in control. With this in mind the designer has been able to reduce the degree of luff curve allowing for a softer body and a more freely opening leech area. The compact clew design further increases draft stability but also keeps the sail feeling small and very easy to handle. |
| As a result of these vast changes the FireFly out-performs the Expression (from the 2008 collection) on all fronts; when flatwater freestylin' it planes earlier and achieves better speed, whilst in wave conditions the compact feel and super forgiving performance allows the rider to push the limits further than ever. It's never been as easy to power on & off so effectively. |
| The construction is both light yet tough, focus has been given to keeping the weight down whilst beefing up specifically loaded areas. Even when sailing regularly and in demanding conditions this sail can take some punishment. |
| With the FireFly there are no rules, it is one hell of a bad ass sail. |
