| The Fly was a brand new wave sail developed early in 2008 when Kauli Seadi (the world wave champion) joined the Neil Pryde International team. Sailing with a completely unique style, he always puts on a mind blowing display of wave riding wizardry and aerial manoeuvres. |
| The design centre had quite a task on their hands as although Kauli liked aspects of the existing three sail ranges (Alpha, Zone, Combat) none of those were perfectly suited. After much development the Fly finally came about delivering a completely new style of performance. |
| Each Fly uses a very compact design, largely facilitated by the reduced clew that allows the boom length to remain normal despite the short luff. |
| The Fly not only handles very light but is able to deliver explosive power (because of the low aspect ratio) great for getting and remaining on the plane and achieving sky high airtime. It is also very easy to handle as the reduced luff curve, shorter/softer mast combination and easy foil shaping allows the Fly to breath and ultimately open and exhaust any excess drive when riding or executing manoeuvres - de-powerable without de-powering! |
| If you're into waves or strong wind bump & jump then you've got to try one of these as the experience is like no other ever offered before. |
