| For pure freeride blasting the V6 is a hard sail to beat. Consistency is the key to what it offers, even when the conditions don't play ball this sail delivers excellent performance on a wide range of board styles and sizes. |
| The V6 uses a classic freeride outline with plenty of shaping low down. Inside the luff there are two low profile Intercams, these induce camber making the sail plane early and enhance the level of foil stability. Even if you sail in gusty winds the V6 keeps the power on and remains stable at speed. |
| Often sailors are put off by the presence of camber inducers (cams), but with the V6 the Intercams rotate very smoothly through transitions. Additionally because of the low profile design the luff pocket remains really narrow (actually only 5mm wider than the no-cam HellCat) so there is no hassle recovering the rig if (or when!) it is dropped. |
| The 2009 model has a more pronounced Compact Clew, the resulting twist efficiency and foil stability have permitted a reduction in luff curve to make the sail handle in a more forgiving manner. Sizes 7m and below now have only 5 battens to make them handle lighter, whilst the larger sails still have 6. |
| If you like many other recreational users like to blast back and forth with maybe a few jumps on the way and some fast slick turns, the V6 is ideal. |
