'Three Lions (on a sail) ' from Guy M (W.Sussex)
Everything seems to go so wrong, my old sails are all gone,
I just know, I'm so sure,
That my last sail's gonna be thrown away, get blown out today,
but I know I can still sail
  'cus I remember
Three Lions on a sail
Neil Pryde still gleaming
Riks Windsurfing shop
always kept me dreaming.
So many creases, so many falls
and all those catapaults
when you've wiped out through them all
but I still see that V6 by Pryde
and when Ricardo gybed, Robby belting the lip
and Finian blasting.
It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming,
Neil Pryde's coming home.
It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming,
V6 coming home.
(Rik has done it in the last minute of extra time)
(what a sail)
(good old Neil Pryde)
(Neil Pryde have got it in the bag)
  Dear Rik,
The goverment r doing a survey on UK penis sizes. They have asked anybody with a penis 3 inches or less to signify this by flying a white flag with a red cross on their car.
As I am already a lucky owner of a 7.5 V6 I would auction the prize off for a windsurfing related charity or even a football loosers charity!
  See ya, Barry M (Essex)
  Dear Rik,
As Scotland has to watch the World Cup from the sidelines, it is all too easy for small-minded Scots to start supporting the "ABE" team. Yes, the "Anyone But England" scenario.
I however have been living south of the boarder for many years now and have grown to love and admire my southern cousins. I will therefore be
hoping against hope that somehow, Brasil get locked in their changing room and 'that foot' clears-up nicely in time for the semi finals.
Yes, it would be an honour for a Scot, nay a patriotic Brit to fly the England flag on his lovely 8m NP V6, that he can sail on the fair isle
of Guernsey, a small British outpost on the verge of the continent....ah bugger it, I can't keep it up any longer.
Come on Trinidad and Tobago. Come on Jason SCOTLAND! Yes indeed, Scotland IS IN the World Cup! Please refer to attached file...click here to listen (well worth it!).
  Regards, Ken C (Guernsey, CI)
PS Come on, wouldn't it be sweet irony for you Englanders, knowing that a Scot has to rig-up a big 8m sail with the England logo on!? That's if
my fingers don't burn each time I touch it that is...
  Hi Rik,
How does a Scotsman living in Norway justify entering a competition to win a Neil Pryde V6 sail (made in China) with an England football team logo on it?  I want to use it on my JP Australia Excite Ride which was shaped by an Austrian (Werner Gnigler) and manufactured in Thailand and will rig it on my Neil Pryde Matrix mast made in Finland.
  There are three reasons:
  1.  The Scots will go to great lengths to get a good deal (That's why we use you Rik!)
  2.  With so many other countries involved in the design and manufacture of the kit no one will notice the little England logo.
  3.  As Scotland have no involvement in the World Cup in Germany we need something to do with our spare time so lets get sailing.  (Every cloud has a silver lining.
I look forward to winning the NP V6 sail.
  Regards, Malcolm W (Norway)
  Entry from John in London...
Neil Pryde sails are known for invention, quality and strength. The V6 Series is also known for power, acceleration and easy manoeuvring.
It seems Neil Pryde and the England Squad share the same characteristics - both are winners!
Make me a winner today by letting me windsurf with this sail.
Many thanks Rik, John B (London)
  Hi Rik,
The law of averages says that i must win one of your compettions some time or other, unfortunatly now England are out there can only be one winner ME!!
The graphics in time and effort must of cost more than the England team???
  Cheers, Steve B (Hertfordshire)
Rik, England were sh*te. Its a sorry fact, but they just didn't want it enough. There was not enough passion. Not enough verve. Not enough adventure. And not enough skill and aggression.
However, if I were the lucky winner of the sail, the three lions would show dynamism, passion, skill, bravery, aggression, and.......... ..............probably some ass flying through the air superman style having given it some on a high speed lay down attempt!!
Ah well, more entertaining than an England Footy performance eh?!
  Dave K (Ruislip)
  Hello Rik & Rebecca,
Sorry ,but i'm french and Sunday, France will become the new world champion 2006.
Let's go French. On the other hand, England and especially Riks will stay the best in the world. Ok, i just want to win but i believe it really!
My old V6 is ko and as the worldcup 2006 will become french the new NP V6 8.0 should become french, so to me.
  Many thanks to you. brianico@club-internet.fr
  Hi Guys,
I would love to be the lucky winner of the England sail, because then I'll be able to blast like Rik in the movie.
Everyone else is hardly moving and Rik is flying along.........thats just what I want to do.
  Kev (from Northants)
  Hi Rik!
I live next door to a Portuguese girl, so I've had to put up with her reminding me about Saturday and '98 continuously.
It also leaves me with a dilemma for the next game. Do I support the Portuguese or French? The Portuguese would involve a massive loss of pride and the French? Lets not go there.
The only solution is going to be to go windsurfing instead, but I'll need a big sail for that! (and I'll know what the big 'V' on it is really for!)

Regards, Michael C (Cambridge)

  Dear Rik!
As The England football team have once again proved their inability to perform at a decent standard, I would like to have the V6 as a visual tool to lend my support to The England 2006 Darts World Cup Team who will be competing in the next few months.
These guys have quietly gone about their tasks in planning to win their World Cup and they deserve the support of the Windsurfing community.

Cheers, Morgs (Milton Keynes)

Hi Rik, I should win the sail because: firstly I need a new 8.0m, secondly I was going to choose a V6 anyway and thirdly as a complete hater of football and anything related to it, what better way to show my patriatism than flying a flag on an accessory related to a sport I love and appreciate and lastly if I win it.......it`s FREE.
  Heres hoping!

Rik, Genuine extract from an ageing windsurfer's diary (aged 57¼):
Saturday June 10 th Booked early tee time to ensure Saturday's round of golf is completed before England 's first game at 2 o'clock in order to watch the game in the bar . Very pleasant day, notice there is a strong southerly blowing. S*d the football go for a few hours blasting. England win by an own goal. I too score an own goal - got caught out by a gust -  hooked in - straight over the handlebars and through my 7.7 Diablo (also ageing). Nice hole in the middle panel and a nice hole in the sail quiver, 6.9 to 9.4 with nothing in between.
Desperately need something to fill the gap.8m V6 would do very nicely!! if only!
  Paul H (Wilts)
