June '07 - Oregon Action Cam ATC-2K - Rik Is The Action!   We've been waiting for these cameras to arrive for a while now and after a typical no wind period when they did actually come in, it's been really frustrating waiting to give one a try....! Well Rik has finally taken one for a spin mounted to the top of his rig with a bracket made up by Andy Knighton from Derbyshire - thanks Andy - it's really excellent...will try the boom mount soon! The cameras come with various fittings to allow attachment to your body or a crash helmet but ideally you'll need to fabricate something...this is easy enough to make work in combination with the supplied handlebar mount and quick release. View Rik's first clip by clicking on the picture to the right...Rik is riding his Slalom 109 and RS:Racing 8.4m...there's a fair amount of mast flex which is a slight issue for the camera but looks good none-the-less. It's also easy to see how good the Ultra Cams on this sail rotate from the top down view! We have the cameras in stock now detailed on the website here.
