| After receiving this amazing support from Riks & PGUK, I had the hard job of deciding what kit to use…tough ey? I decided on 3 boards and 6 sails which gives is perfect! |
 |
| My first chosen board was the FS 99 Pro, I have the 2007 model and loved it to bits! I learnt everything from Vulcan's to Flaka's on that board, so it seemed an easy choice to make. Secondly I chose the FSW 84 Pro, I love the FSW boards, my first ever JP was the 2006 FSW 78, and I was amazed how good a board could be! I have out grown my 78 now so the 84 should be a perfect size. My third and final board was the RRW 68 Pro, there have been many occasions when my 78 has just been too big, so for those wild days this board should be perfect, really can’t wait to give it a blast in the waves! |

| For sails, I choose the Expression's in the larger sizes for freestyle and light wind wave sailing, then the Combat's for wave sailing and high wind freestyle. I have had a chance to use the Expressions already and they are awesome, they get on the plane in no time and can handle the strongest gusts surprisingly well for a freestyle sail. |

| As far as the rig bits went, I wanted the best kit possible, so it was X9 booms and X-Combat masts. I have used both of these and I’m very impressed, the X9 is super stiff and it really gives an exact feedback from the sail. The X-Combat skinny masts feel light and easy to handle and with the extra strength will allow me to really go for it without any worry! Also for tricks such as Spock's they make the whole thing easier as I can get a good grip on the mast. |
 |
| I haven’t had a chance to try out all of the kit yet due to the joys of A level exams, but now they are over I'm hoping to get out on the water as much as possible. I have tried out the FSW 84 with the 5.7 Expression at Rutland with Rik and also had a blast with the 5.2 Expression at Hickling broad although it was very gusty. Can’t wait for the next good day so hope to see you down the beach soon - be sure to say hi! |
