10. All Done! All being well when finished there should be a smooth line of silicone covering external edges between the protector and the underhull / rail areas. We suggest the board is left for a period of approx five days before use to ensure the silicone is fully cured. If the protector is removed in the future any residual silicone material can be taken off easily using a specialist silcone remover solution available at many hardware stores.
